To manage peer review of the submitted manuscripts, JMTR uses the widely used Editorial Manager system through Allen Press. With a proven record of reliability and with an easy to use interface for authors, reviewers, and editors, this peer review platform is currently used by more than 5000 publication companies worldwide for accelerating the peer review process. Since 1935, Allen Press, Inc. has helped organizations disseminate research findings and other information through a broad array of print, online, distribution, and publishing services, and currently collaborates with more than 300 scholarly societies, professional associations, and publishers worldwide.

The submitted manuscripts will undergo peer review from the experts in the field and also by at least one of our Editors. The normal peer review process is anticipated to be completed within 4 to 6 weeks. For manuscripts that are submitted for quick peer review, a decision will be made by the reviewers within 3 to 5 business days. All articles that are submitted for peer review are required to pay a manuscript submission fee of $39.00. Only manuscripts that are submitted for quick peer review would incur an additional $299.00 article processing fee. After completion of the review process, the author will be notified about the reviewers decision with comments on the submitted manuscripts.

Manuscripts that were accepted for publication will undergo typesetting, formatting and final editing which may take an additional two weeks time. The galley proofs will be sent to the corresponding author to ensure completeness of the article. Only minor changes if identified will be incorporated at this time, and the final proofs from the authors are required to be submitted within three days along with copyrights form and affirmation letter which authorizes JMTR to publish online. After receiving the final proofs, JMTR will publish the manuscript online within 24 hours, and all published articles will be indexed in CrossRef and Google Scholar at this time. Indexing in Pubmed is awaited.
